Thanks Nan, Alexander, Marian, Russel, Tracy, Rob, Kim, & Greg for your business. I hope you all enjoy the rest of your family vacation in Sedona.
Today, I took a group of Canadians out on their second tour with us this week. Although it was a ruins tour, they got to see so much more. Our day included a visit to the Airport Mesa Main Vista, Amitabh Stupa & Medicine Wheel, Tuzigoot National Monument, Alcantara Vineyard, & my favorite ruin in the area, Montezuma Well. Along the way, I shared such facts as why the rocks are red, scientific vortex information, history of the local Indian tribes, and so much more. Thanks Nan, Alexander, Marian, Russel, Tracy, Rob, Kim, & Greg for your business. I hope you all enjoy the rest of your family vacation in Sedona.

Today I had the pleasure of taking a very nice couple from southern California out on what was booked as a scenic Sedona and ancient Indian ruins combo tour, but turned it to a much more diverse experience for them and their dog. One of the things that makes my job and tours so unique is my ability to customize each tour to my clients unique interests. Offering private tours gives me the ability to change and alter the tours projected itinerary on the fly to better suit the interests ands desires of each individual client. After sharing some of the sights of Sedona, Oak Creek Canyon, and other points of interest with my clients and their dog, I learned that they enjoy local micro-breweries as well as wine. So since the tour included lunch, I opted to take them to Verde Brewing Company for lunch, which was quite fabulous, where they could simply some local beers. Afterwards, we headed to my favorite ruin site of the area, Montezuma Well, which they enjoyed immensely. Since I had shared with them the flavor of a local brewery, it seemed appropriate to share with them a local vineyard as well, which Javelina Leap became the perfect choice. They even brought a bottle of wine home to share with their daughter! - the Prospector's Blend, which is one of my favorites! From there, we headed back to Sedona just in time to see the red rock glowing from the illumination of the sun setting to our west. Another beautiful day in tour paradise. Yesterday I had the enjoyment of taking a wonderful family out on their second tour with us this week. After checking out the wines along the Verde Valley Wine Trail on Monday, they decided to join us again for a tour that included some of the local Indian Ruins of the area. Their tour included seeing the Airport Mesa Main Vista Overlook, Amitabha Stupa & Medicine Wheel, Tuzigoot National Monument, Alcantara Vineyard, & Montezuma Well. Along the way we shared with them information about the history of the area and the native tribes that once lived here as well as geological history, scientific vortex information, tidbits and facts about the local flora and fauna, and much more. All in all it was a wonderful day. We are grateful to be of service. It way my sincere please meting you all Nan, Alexander, Marian, Russel, Tracy, Rob, Kim, & Greg. |
